Job Title:               Senior or Principal Transport Planner
Location:               Cambridge (wfh options 2 -3 days per wk)

Job Summary

The primary function of the post of Senior or Principal Transport Planner is to assist in the preparation of Transport Statements, Transport Assessments and Travel Plans and other relevant transport documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Transport Statements, Assessment, Travel Plans and other relevant transport documents for under the guidance and supervision of colleagues.
• Liaise with authorities and other consultants to obtain information and data required for projects.
• Assess the capacity of junctions using industry-standard modelling software.
• Seek to add value to all projects.
• Continue to update personal knowledge or relevant technical/legal and policy changes
• Manage work on projects in line with client expectations.
• Communicate with colleagues as appropriate.
• Take personal responsibility for ensuring the profitability of designated projects.
• Provide guidance to colleagues on quality matters and technical issues.
• Seek to maximise further work opportunities with Clients
