Senior or Principal Ecologist
West Sussex

The practice is a provider of ecological professional and technical support services for development projects to the private sector, local and central government.  Working with clients by providing expert advice on ecological assessment to ensure that they clearly understand the impacts of ecological value and potential within the planning system and development practice.

Seeking a Senior or Principal Ecologist on a full-time basis to support the environmental team in delivering ecological services throughout the South-East and nationally.

Candidates must be enthusiastic and motivated consultant ecologists to assist the principal ecologist and management team with ecology desk studies, preliminary ecological appraisals, bat roost assessments, and detailed phase 2 habitat surveys for bats, reptiles, amphibians, dormouse, water voles, invertebrates, and birds, and related ecological site works.  The role and post would be great hands-on experience of all elements of ecology consultancy.  All levels and applications considered.
